The Vanco 280701 IR Control Kit over HDMI passes infrared remote signals through an HDMI cable run, using a source-side emitter pigtail and display-side receiver pigtail that are IR or CEC configurable. It supports video resolutions up to 4K@60Hz with HDR10 and Dolby Vision pass-through and extends IR signals up to 328 feet (100m), with maximum resolution depending on the HDMI cable used. It's a simple way to keep remote control working when a source and display are separated by a long HDMI run.
