Product Overview
The TP-Link SG3218XP-M2 is an L2+ managed switch built for networks moving past gigabit. Sixteen 2.5G ports — eight of them PoE+ — give Wi-Fi 7/6E/6 access points the headroom they need, while two 10GE SFP+ uplinks carry aggregated traffic back to the core. A 240 W PoE budget powers a full floor of APs and cameras over the same cables that carry their data.
Key Features
- 16 x 2.5G ports, 8 of them PoE+, sized for Wi-Fi 7/6E/6 access points
- 2 x 10GE SFP+ uplinks for high-capacity backbone connections
- 240 W total PoE power budget across the PoE+ ports
- Single Ethernet cable carries both data and power for flexible installation
- L2+ managed: static routing, VLANs, link aggregation, and advanced QoS
- Integrated into Omada SDN for centralized cloud management and monitoring
- Robust security including ACL, 802.1X, DHCP snooping, and DoS defense
