Product Overview:

SpeakerCraft Outdoor 200-Watt-Continuous-Power Dual-Tweeter DVC Rock Speaker Speckled Granite SC-RS8Si

SpeakerCraft Dual-Tweeter DVC Rock Loudspeakers blend into their surroundings in virtually any outdoor environment and bring quality sound to outdoor music. This Speckled Granite Rock Speaker can be used in mono, 2-speaker stereo, or single-speaker stereo configurations. Plus, it is designed to be heard and not seen, thanks to years of engineering that went into creating a seamless natural look with GeoRealistic finishes and NoFade protective paint. It even surpasses MIL-STD 883 for corrosion resistance! The durably crafted speaker cabinet comes with shaped, low-diffraction MicroPerf aluminum grilles to maintain the realistic look and create an acoustically transparent sound experience. To further enhance the audio performance of this rock-like outdoor speaker, SpeakerCraft’s proprietary ConeForward design positions the drivers close to the grilles to markedly improve midrange intelligibility.

Key Features:

  • Between 10 watts and 200 watts power handling; impedance: 8 ohms; 8-ohm stereo, 4-ohm L/R summed (parallel)
  • Frequency response: 50 Hz to 21 kHz; sensitivity: 88 dB
  • It can be wired to play in single-point stereo as well as a mono and 2-speaker stereo
  • 8-in. injection-molded TCC (Talc, Carbon, Ceramic)-filled dual-voice-coil polypropylene cone woofer is extremely rigid to reduce breakup and lower distortion
  • Cone, butyl rubber surround, substantial magnet, and motor structure are optimized for large excursions for superior bass output
  • Dual 1-in. fluid-cooled tri-laminate Teteron tweeters are angled 20° from each other, providing improved coverage and dispersion since they are aimed at the listener and not at the ground
  • Dual precision crossovers precisely distribute music between the woofer and each tweeter, keeping channels completely isolated; the 3-pole, 2-way design of crossover provides ideal stereo imaging into each channel, low distortion, and superior sonic performance
  • Cabinet is made of a custom multilayer fiberglass construction, with double seals on the tweeter, woofer, and enclosure cover; UV- and water-resistant
  • Low-diffraction MicroPerf aluminum grilles are acoustically transparent; painted, rust-resistant construction resists oxidation for longer speaker durability
  • Handles temperature extremes from -50°F to 185°F
  • Dimensions: 19.5 in. L x 16.5 in. D x 12.5 in. H
  • Weight: 16.5 lbs.
