The Resideo 5800COV is a 3V battery-powered wireless carbon monoxide detector for use with Honeywell alarm systems that support 5800-Series wireless devices, fully listed to UL 2075 as a system-supervised detector. Its electrochemical sensor pairs with a wireless transmitter that reports alarm, trouble, end-of-life, tamper, and low-battery conditions to the panel, repeating the alarm message every 4 seconds until the CO condition clears, while a built-in piezoelectric horn sounds the ANSI S3.41 temporal-4 pattern and a Test/Hush button silences it for 5 minutes. Because it requires no wiring, it suits difficult-to-wire locations and rooms where aesthetics matter.
