The Poly CCX 505 (82Z82AA) is a business media phone with Open SIP firmware, so it works with standard SIP call platforms rather than one specific service. IP desk phones connect over the office network to a VoIP call platform, and PoE lets one network cable carry both data and power to the phone. Business IP phones like this are a common choice for offices, reception desks and shared spaces where users still want a physical handset and dedicated call keys.
