Metal surfaces, where access control readers are often mounted, interfere with RFID transmission. This buffer plate optimizes reader range by inserting a one-inch layer of high-density polyethylene insulation between RFID readers and the pedestals, metal hoods or enclosures where they are mounted.
Universal, pre-drilled and countersunk hole patters and other markings make it very easy to install. Countersunk holes allow the use of socket wrenches and recessed nuts to accommodate flush-mounting of card readers. Use this buffer plate anywhere, in combination with any reader, pedestal, housing, or wall.
