EX-1 Investigation Suite
EX-1 is a purpose-built mobile device forensic workstation for handling investigation data cleanly and safely. It’s a dedicated offline digital investigation laptop for law enforcement, corporate investigators, internal compliance teams, and independent forensic consultants who need a controlled environment for mobile phone data extraction and review.
EX-1 runs without antivirus, cloud sync, or general-purpose apps. All tools operate from USB, nothing installs on the internal drive, and all extracted data is stored externally. Instead of behaving like a normal laptop, EX-1 functions as a contained digital forensics environment where case work stays separate from everyday system clutter, updates, and user activity.
To protect evidence integrity, EX-1 is designed for isolated use: no other systems should connect during active processing, and internet access should remain disabled unless required for a clearly defined task. This keeps the cell phone investigation suite focused on one job — processing and reviewing evidence — while reducing background threats and supporting clean audit trails across extraction workflows.
The included tools form a USB-based mobile forensics toolkit designed to extract and structure large, localised mobile datasets (LLM). These datasets are the starting point for modern forensic work: building communication timelines, correlating media with locations, and exporting findings into case management systems. EX-1 ensures clean, structured, review-ready mobile evidence is always available for transformation, without compromise.

Evidence Handling Protocol

SIM Card Seizure Tool (SCS)
A legacy utility for recovering deleted text messages and contacts from SIM cards. Retained for edge cases or legacy device investigations where SIM-level data may still be relevant.
Voicelogger Tool
Captures ambient audio from around the EX-1 and can auto-email recordings. Included as part of the original toolset. Not used in core mobile data workflows.
