The Luxul 10G-CAB-05 is a 0.5-meter SFP+ direct attach copper cable for stacking or linking Luxul managed switches through their 10-Gigabit SFP+ ports. At half a meter it is sized for switches sitting in adjacent rack spaces — the short, fixed length keeps the back of the rack tidy, and a passive copper assembly costs far less and draws less power than a pair of optical transceivers plus patch fiber for the same job.
