HID's multiCLASS SE RMP40 Smart Card Reader with Magnetic Stripe (922PTPNEK0017P) is an access control reader for doors, reading smart credentials and reporting each read to the controller. Magnetic stripe reading lets the same reader accept older swipe cards. OSDP gives two-way, supervised communication between the reader and the controller.
