The HID 921PHRNEK0047A is a pivCLASS SE RPK40-H Smart Keypad Reader, a door reader that reads the credential a user presents and passes it to the access control panel. The built-in keypad lets a site require a PIN as well as, or instead of, a card. PIV readers are used at government and federal sites that issue FIPS 201 identity credentials.
