HID's pivCLASS SE RK40-H Smart Card Reader (921NHRNEK0004M) is an access control reader for doors, reading smart credentials and reporting each read to the controller. PIV readers are used at government and federal sites that issue FIPS 201 identity credentials. A pigtail connection lets the installer splice the reader straight into the cable run.
