HID Global's 40TTKS-03-02A9BQ is a Signo 40T Mechanical Keypad Reader. Keypad readers like this one are used where a badge alone is not enough, letting the access panel ask for a PIN after the card is read. Field wires land on a terminal strip, which makes replacing the reader later straightforward. The card profile sets which credential types it reads out of the box.
