Built for physical access control, the HID 40NKS-T2-00BQ1C Signo 40 Contactless Smart Card Reader sits beside the door and reads the card or credential a user presents. The pigtail lead is spliced directly into the controller cable at the door. Each read is passed to the panel, which keeps the audit trail of who entered and when.
