The HID 40KTKS-00-00BMMD is a Signo 40K contactless smart card keypad reader. This version uses the Standard profile and wires to the panel through a terminal strip. The keypad adds PIN entry, so the access control system can enforce card-plus-PIN on doors that need more than a badge tap.
