The Signo 40 Contactless Smart Card Reader 40KNKS1-00-000040 from HID is a door reader for access control systems: a user presents a credential and the controller grants or denies entry. Mobile support means phones can be used as credentials alongside cards. Readers like this mount at the door, while the access controller makes the unlock decision and logs the event.
