Built for physical access control, the HID 40KHNKS-03-00055J Signo Contactless PIV Reader 40 with Keypad and Wall Switch Mount sits beside the door and reads the card or credential a user presents. With a keypad on board, it can enforce card-plus-PIN at doors that need a second factor. PIV readers are used at sites that issue government-style PIV identity credentials.
