The Signo 40C Smart Card Keypad Reader with Terminal Strip Connection 40CHTKK1-03-0004XR from HID is a door reader for access control systems: a user presents a credential and the controller grants or denies entry. With a keypad on board, it can enforce card-plus-PIN at doors that need a second factor. Custom-profile readers are programmed for a specific site's credentials rather than generic stock.
