The HID 20NKS-00-011U48 is a Signo 20 Contactless Smart Card Keypad Reader from HID's Signo line, used at access-controlled doors to read a credential and pass its data to the door controller. Its keypad adds PIN entry, so a door can be set to accept a code alone or a card plus a code. The pigtail lead is spliced directly into the controller cable at the door.
