The LE4000 LTE Cellular Alarm Communicator provides a reliable and future-ready solution for alarm signal transmission as 2G and 3G cellular networks continue to be phased out. By upgrading to LTE technology, security providers can help customers protect their investments, maintain long-term connectivity, and reduce costly service visits related to network transitions. Designed to connect an alarm control panel directly to the cellular network, the LE4000 transmits alarm signals to compatible monitoring station receivers, including Sur-Gard System I-IP, II, III, IV, and 5. It supports alarm panels that communicate using Contact ID or SIA (300 baud) formats, delivering fast, dependable, and cost-effective alarm communications. The LE4000 is installed between the alarm control panel's telephone connection and the telephone line. In backup mode, it continuously monitors the PSTN connection and automatically switches to the cellular network if the phone line fails, ensuring uninterrupted alarm reporting. In primary mode, alarm signals are transmitted immediately over the LTE cellular network for maximum communication reliability.
