The Cisco FirePOWER 1120 is a next-generation firewall (NGFW) appliance. A firewall sits between a network and the internet, controlling traffic and blocking threats, which suits small and mid-size offices and branch sites. A next-generation firewall inspects traffic by application and user, not only by port, giving finer control over what is allowed.
