The ADC-T2000 is Alarm.com's Z-Wave smart thermostat, controlled from the same app as the security system. The practical advantage over a standalone smart thermostat is rule-based behaviour: setting back the heat when the system arms away, or shutting the HVAC down when a smoke detector trips so the system stops circulating smoke through the building.
