The Adams Rite 8701EL36-12 is an exit device: the horizontal bar that guarantees anyone inside can always get out, whatever the access control on the outside is doing. Electric latch retraction lets the system hold the door on free access during opening hours and release it again at night. It is life-safety hardware first and security hardware second.
- Fits a 36 in door opening
- Electric latch retraction - the panel can pull the latch and leave the door on free egress
- Life-safety egress hardware: one push on the bar always opens the door, whatever the access control is doing
Compatibility: For aluminum and narrow-stile doors. Confirm door width, handing and finish before ordering; exit devices are not returnable once prepped.
