HID Global's 40NKS-00-00004P is a Signo 40 Series Multi-Technology Smart Card Reader. Installed at the entrance, the reader collects the credential and the access panel makes the open-or-deny decision. Being mobile ready, it can be set up for phone-based credentials. Multi-technology readers accept more than one card type, which helps while a site moves from older credentials to newer ones.
