The HID 40KNKS-T2-00YU04 is a Signo 40K reader with keypad from HID Global. Card readers mount at the door and pass credential data to the access control panel, which decides whether to unlock. The keypad adds PIN entry, so a site can require a card, a PIN or both at the door. The pigtail version comes with a pre-attached cable lead for wiring to the panel.
