The high-capacity TS-h1887XU-RP 18-Bay NAS Enclosure from QNAP is powered by a next-gen 3.4 GHz Intel Xeon E-2334 4-Core processor, 32GB of DDR4 ECC memory (supports up to 128GB), and provides an HDD/SSD hybrid storage architecture that balances performance and cost to deliver reliable server-grade performance. Running the ZFS-based QuTS hero operating system, the TS-h1887XU-RP emphasizes data integrity with inline data deduplication, near-limitless snapshots, real-time SnapSync, and QSAL (QNAP SSD Antiwear Leveling), providing an ideal storage solution that meets today's business requirements for file servers, virtualization servers, VDI, and backup/restore.

This unit has 18 SATA III 6 Gb/s drive bays, 12 of which natively support 3.5" hard drives, as well as 2.5" hard drives and SSDs, while the other six support 2.5" hard drives and SSDs. Should users need to expand the overall capacity of their TS-h1887XU-RP, two optional expansion units may be connected.
