Designed to handle sRGB graphics projects with confidence, the LED-backlit P243W-BK Professional sRGB Gamut 24" 16:10 IPS Monitor from NEC is made for web, high-end desktop, and photograph applications. It features a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz, In-Plane Switching (IPS) and Thin Film Transistor (TFT) technology, support for 1.07 billion colors, a widescreen 16:10 aspect ratio, a static contrast ratio of 1000:1, a 350 cd/m2 brightness rating, 93 pixels per inch, and an 8 ms (GtG) response time. Using the 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, it is possible to watch content from virtually any position. This display has one DisplayPort 1.1a input, one 24-pin DVI-D input, one 15-pin mini D-Sub VGA input, and one HDMI input. There are also two upstream USB 3.0 Type-B ports and two downstream USB 3.0 Type-A ports, each of which supports a maximum load of 0.9A. The DisplayPort and HDMI inputs both support 10-bit color and 1.07 billion colors, while the DVI-D port supports 16.7 million colors. The DisplayPort and HDMI port support digital audio (2-channel PCM / 32, 44.1, and 48 kHz / 16-, 20-, and 24-bit), and analog audio is supported with one 3.5mm input and one 3.5mm output.

NEC has engineered the P243W-BK with support for 99.8% of the sRGB gamut, 77% of the Adobe RGB gamut, and 73.1% of the NTSC gamut. The PA32UC supports HDCP 1.3 for DisplayPort and HDCP 1.4 for DVI-D and HDMI, a 14-bit internal 3D lookup table, Picture-in-Picture, Picture-by-Picture, and more. To further help improve viewing and accessibility, the P243W-BK features a tilt of -5 to 30°, a swivel of 340°, a rotation of 90°, and a height adjustment of 5.9".

Technologies
Rapid Response
Delivers virtually uninterrupted, undistorted viewing of high-speed, full-motion video.
3D LUT
Internal 14-bit programmable 3D lookup tables (LUTs) allow the display of 1.07 billion colors out of a palette of 4.3 trillion (with 10-bit DisplayPort input) for accurate color, smooth images, and hardware calibration.
AmbiBright
Automatically adjusts the backlight depending on the brightness of ambient lighting conditions. It also tells the monitor to enter power saving mode whenever the ambient lighting falls below a predetermined value, like when lights are shut off at the end of the day, which can reduce energy consumption.
Auto Image Rotation
Automatic rotation of the displayed image based on the orientation of the monitor head.
Digital Uniformity Compensation
Reduces screen uniformity errors and compensates for differences in color/grayscale and luminance using new signal processing circuitry.
Kensington Lock
Enables a security cable to be attached to the projector.
MultiSync P/PA Series Picture-by-Picture
Displays a either second video source or the same video source in a window beside the main video source. The Picture-by-Picture window can display the video source in the same or an alternate color space.
MultiSync P/PA Series Picture in Picture
Displays either second video source or the same video source in an adjustable sub-window over the main video source. The Picture-in-Picture window can display the video source in the same or an alternate color space.
Picture-in-Picture
Allows two sources to be displayed on the screen at one time in either a picture-in-picture or side-by-side configuration.
XtraView
Delivers wide viewing angles of up to 176° horizontally and vertically (up to 88° up, down, left, and right), while helping to reduce glare, reflection, and distortion.
6-Axis Color Control
Allows for precise and simplified color, color temperature, and saturation adjustment.
Ambix4
Allows up to four inputs (DisplayPort, VGA, and two DVI-D) to be connected to a single monitor and for each of the four signals to be displayed with the press of a button.
CableComp
Equalizes the video signal to help eliminate color halos on long cable runs.
DisplaySync Pro
DisplaySync Pro is a type of KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) switch. It allows multiple computers to be connected to the monitor through USB and share the attached USB devices, such as a keyboard and mouse, saving desktop space and helping to increase productivity.
MultiProfiler
This software provides an intuitive interface to control the display's sophisticated technologies, such as loading any ICC profile directly into the display for improved color space matching.
