Designed to handle sRGB graphics projects with confidence, the LED-backlit P243W-BK Professional sRGB Gamut 24" 16:10 IPS Monitor from NEC is made for web, high-end desktop, and photograph applications. It features a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz, In-Plane Switching (IPS) and Thin Film Transistor (TFT) technology, support for 1.07 billion colors, a widescreen 16:10 aspect ratio, a static contrast ratio of 1000:1, a 350 cd/m2 brightness rating, 93 pixels per inch, and an 8 ms (GtG) response time. Using the 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, it is possible to watch content from virtually any position. This display has one DisplayPort 1.1a input, one 24-pin DVI-D input, one 15-pin mini D-Sub VGA input, and one HDMI input. There are also two upstream USB 3.0 Type-B ports and two downstream USB 3.0 Type-A ports, each of which supports a maximum load of 0.9A. The DisplayPort and HDMI inputs both support 10-bit color and 1.07 billion colors, while the DVI-D port supports 16.7 million colors. The DisplayPort and HDMI port support digital audio (2-channel PCM / 32, 44.1, and 48 kHz / 16-, 20-, and 24-bit), and analog audio is supported with one 3.5mm input and one 3.5mm output.
NEC has engineered the P243W-BK with support for 99.8% of the sRGB gamut, 77% of the Adobe RGB gamut, and 73.1% of the NTSC gamut. The PA32UC supports HDCP 1.3 for DisplayPort and HDCP 1.4 for DVI-D and HDMI, a 14-bit internal 3D lookup table, Picture-in-Picture, Picture-by-Picture, and more. To further help improve viewing and accessibility, the P243W-BK features a tilt of -5 to 30°, a swivel of 340°, a rotation of 90°, and a height adjustment of 5.9".
