The PR-R8U2K is the first UPS that integrates directly with the Big Dog Power distribution system — the PR-R13PI and PR-V7PI — so the UPS and the PDU behave as one system rather than two boxes that happen to share a rack. It is a 2U rack-mounted 2000VA online double-conversion unit, which means connected equipment runs continuously off the inverter with no transfer time at all when mains power fails.
