Reliably detect people, vehicles, and objects regardless of light conditions or attempts at camouflage with the FA4090-E Modular Outdoor Dome Thermal Sensor Unit for FA54 from Axis Communications. Designed for use with the FA54 Modular Camera (available separately), this thermal sensor unit uses an uncooled microbolometer and a 4mm thermal lens to capture 208 x 156 thermal video in a 35.4 x 28° field of view. The sensor unit supports the Axis Communications Camera Application Platform, which enables the use of analytics apps such as Guard Suite.
The FA4090-E can be used in single- or multi-channel setups to create a surveillance system tailored to your specific needs, indoors or outdoors. Up to four thermal/optical sensor units can be connected to the FA54 Main Unit, and thermal and optical imagery can be combined into one stream. In a thermal/optical hybrid setup, the thermal sensor units allow for intruder detection while the optical sensor units enable identification and closer analysis of potential threats.
