The enclosure includes eight 3.5" and four 2.5" hot-swappable SATA III drive bays, and installed drives can be configured in RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60 mode with a hot spare drive. Performance can be further enhanced by installing up to two M.2 2280 or 22110 solid-state cache drives. The TVS-h1288X connects to networks through four 2.5G and two 10G Ethernet ports to optimize the speed and efficiency.

Upgrades such as 25G network adapters and Thunderbolt 3 cards can be installed into the available PCIe 3.0 slots. Other features include 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and Type-C ports alongside an HDMI 1.4b output for connecting compatible peripherals. Your data is secured with integrated AES-NI encryption. The TVS-h1288X supports multiple QNAP SATA III and USB Type-C expansion enclosure models for greater capacity.

The TVS-h1288X can reach up to 4646 MB/s sequential download and 3651 MB/s sequential upload speeds with eight 6TB hard drives in RAID 5 mode and two 2TB cache SSDS over four 10GbE connections.

With 4K media playback and real-time transcoding, you can output videos directly to 4096 x 2160 resolution, 30 Hz monitors through the HDMI 1.4b port.
