The TS-h1277AXU-RP comes with two M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 5 slots that allow for installing NVMe SSDs (including WD, Micron, Seagate, and Kingston) to boost NAS performance. PCIe Gen 5 is backward compatible with PCIe Gen 4 and PCIe Gen 3 for flexible SSD deployment.

Note: M.2 SSD sold separately. Due to limited space, you should remove large heatsinks from M.2 SSDs and replace them with QNAP's M.2 SSD heatsink before installing in the TS-h1277AXU-RP.
