The Crown Audio PCC170 SW Non-RoHS is a half-supercardioid boundary microphone designed for use in conferences, boardrooms, courtrooms, etc. This version is not compliant with RoHS standards created by the EU. The supercardioid polar pattern provides a highly directional pick up, minimizing noise and ambiance at the off-axis sections of the microphone. A wide frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz accentuates the midrange frequencies associated with the human voice. A Bass Tilt switch can be set to boost or cut low frequencies. The microphone is powered via a 12 to 48V phantom power source, such as a Crown PH-1A or PH-4B power supply. The PCC170 SW Non-RoHS has a silent-operating programmable membrane switch that can be configured for touch on/off, momentary on, or momentary off.
