It will pass through HDR UHD 4K signals and will upscale non-UHD signals to near-4K quality for enhanced viewing of lower-resolution sources when paired with a UHD display. The receiver also has a USB port for accessing media stored on USB flash drives. YPAO-RSC multipoint sound optimization will calibrate the receiver to your speakers and room setup for a tailored listening experience.

Total Purity Concept
The Total Purity Concept is designed to encompass high-drive amp technology, high-purity preamplification, anti-vibration technology, and independent, pure power supplies. The receiver has fully discrete power amplifiers that help minimize distortion and adopts pure independent power supplies, allowing dedicated power supplies for the analog and digital circuitry to prevent digital noise from affecting analog circuitry. The anti-vibration heat sinks are designed to suppress vibration from transistors and sound pressure.
The Anti-Resonance Technology Wedge is a fifth foot in the center of the receiver. It is engineered to dampen vibrations from the power transformer, power transistors, and heat sinks, as well as vibrations that might be caused by the sound from the speakers.
The feet of the receiver feature a high-density structure that utilizes both straight and curved ribs to enhance strength and damping performance. This is designed to enhance installation stability and disperse chassis resonance, effectively eliminating external vibration. Aluminum Front Panel
The AVENTAGE RX-A3080 features an aluminum front panel to help shield sensitive circuitry from external noise and electronic radiation generated by dimmer switches, fluorescent lighting, video monitors, and the like. This helps ensure optimum sonic performance in a variety of installation environments.
Symmetrical Power Amplifier
The interior of the receiver has been circuit-routed and built so that the left and right channels are physically and electrically isolated, helping to maximize channel separation and enhance the signal-to-noise ratio while also helping to achieve an open sound stage.
The receiver is reinforced internally with cross-members in an H-shape to help provide a rigid, stable frame. This is designed to help reduce chassis vibration to virtually zero, even during high volume output, helping to maintain audio quality.
The RX-A3080 comes equipped with XLR balanced audio input/output terminals. In combination with a Blu-ray or CD player equipped with balanced output terminals, this enables high-quality signal transmission with reduced degradation of sound quality due to external noise. The balanced input terminals feature gold-plated connections produced by Neutrik.

ESS's 32-bit Hyper Stream Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) compensation function helps minimize noise levels. In combination with Yamaha's D.O.P.G. This AI technology built into the DSP analyzes the scene of your content and creates a surround effect to help reproduce it with augmented realism. In real time, this AI analyzes scenes by focusing on distinct sound elements, such as dialogue, background music, ambient sounds, and sound effects, and automatically enhances the surround effect to help provide greater realism.
